The Investment Week team planned and executed this launch event with attendee experience at top of mind, bringing the most senior-level audience back to in-person events again.
Kisaco Research, Regenerative Agriculture and Food Systems Summit
The Regenerative Agriculture & Food Systems Summit brings together the entire food industry from farmer to retailer. Through peer-to-peer sharing, partnership, and collaboration the Summit aims to facilitate and advance the adoption of regenerative practices and provide key insights to inform corporate strategies and develop frameworks to measure impact to effectively achieve sustainability goals. Our mission is to bring the industry together to accelerate the transition to regenerative agriculture to build a more abundant and resilient food system for generations to come.
National Residential Landlords Association, The Landlord Conference 2022
The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) held its inaugural national conference on November 15th, 2022, welcoming more than 600 delegates, speakers, and exhibitors to Coventry Arena.
The Landlord Conference, unique in the sector, aimed to bring NRLA members and other property professionals together, with a programme of expert speakers and panel discussions covering hot topics including mortgages, legislation, energy efficiency, and compliance.
Speakers included newly appointed housing minister Felicity Buchan, who used the event to deliver her first speech in the role, as well as answering audience questions, in what was a huge coup for the association.
The conference was designed to support landlords at a particularly challenging time, with political and economic uncertainty, soaring interest rates and new legislative proposals all casting a shadow over the sector.
Tickets for the event sold out a week ahead of the conference, more than 50% above target, with the venue filled to capacity on the day and sponsorship packages and exhibition stands also selling out.
The conference had a fantastic atmosphere and exceeded targets in terms of both profits and satisfaction levels, with a new date and larger venue already secured for 2023.
Newtrade Media, Women in Convenience
We launched Women in Convenience in 2022, to address the inequality in the independent convenience retail sector. Our aim was to connect, empower and support female retailers and recognise the crucial part they play in stores across the country.
Our quantitative and qualitative research identified the key issues, which in turn shaped the content of the inaugural event, which took place on 8 November 2022. The depth of the relationships we hold with independent retailers enabled us to sense-check the event format and content every step of the way. and create an event where women working in the sector would feel comfortable sharing their experiences and discussing practical solutions.
As well as being a commercial success, which was vital for the longevity of our Women in Convenience initiative, the event provided attendees with advice and insight to use in their personal and professional lives and the opportunity to form important connections with other female retailers. Our aim for the inaugural Women in Convenience event was for it to be the starting point for change, and the momentum we have seen in our business since – from retailers and suppliers alike – demonstrates that we were successful in achieving this.
Verve The Live Agency, 2BGB Employee Conference
Verve was briefed to deliver an event to drive employee engagement and recognition after the pandemic had globally impacted team communication and integration. The event needed to have WOW factor whilst also recognising Diageo’s current success and incentivising employees to look ahead to the future of the widely recognised drink powerhouse.
Verve built on the “2BGB” concept with Diageo encapsulating what it means to be part of the GB Diageo team, highlighting a focus on inclusion and diversity, the best of Diageo and uniting colleagues in a new marketing strategy which aims to elevate the company even more.
The Diageo 2BGB Conference, was a vibrant, impactful and impressive day and evening filled with a sense of community and an energising buzz at The Brewery. The event encapsulated culture, engagement, recognition and brand passion.
The conference was so successful in achieving the business objectives of team integration and communication that Verve is now planning the 2023 Diageo 2BGB Conference, to ensure the momentum created at the inaugural event is maintained.
With Intelligence, Women’s Private Equity Summit Europe
In September 2022, we launched this leading-edge Summit in Europe; providing essential regional-specific insight and connections for investors and asset managers in this dynamic region.
This summit was created by women, for women. But gender was not on the agenda. This business-focused event is where careers, deals and the industry at large can thrive. Over 230 representatives from the ecosystem-at-large, joined us to form Europe’s newest women-led LP’s and GP’s network. It was a chance for our attendees to develop long-lasting relationships with a broad range of key partners, prospects and peers that will benefit their firms and careers in the years to come.
