CTL Communications – Global Launch Event
CTL Communications were appointed to deliver a launch event for a new treatment indication. The meeting needed to be worthy of celebrating this historical moment whilst also ensuring the participants understood the strategy and actions needed to ensure a successful launch. Built on the theme Making History: Achieving Breakthrough, the meeting centred around the patient, with handwritten letters from real patients in pre-event experience boxes, patient interviews and video re-enactments of the struggle of day to day life through to the hope for a brighter future. Attendees were live-streamed via an MS Teams community wall where more than 400 from 40 countries around the world interacted together and with presenters on stage, delivering moments to make an impact and to remember. The culmination of 5 pre-meetings and a 2-day event with multiple workshops and sessions pairing leadership and country colleagues to deliver the key launch messages resulted in attendance above expectations with an average 94% responders were mostly or very satisfied. Overall, a great way to Make History!

News UK – The Disability & Journalism Forum
News UK was proud to launch Britain’s first-ever hybrid conference aimed at improving representation of disabled staff in newsrooms across the UK. Journalism diversity experts and leading disabled journalists came together to discuss a variety of topics including the benefits disabled journalists bring to newsrooms, neurodiversity, making journalism more accessible to readers, breaking into journalism and much more. The ultimate aim of this forum was to highlight the impact people with disabilities make in the workplace and specifically on the journalism industry. In order to shape the conversation in a meaningful way, the event’s content was chosen by an advisory board of disabled people and disability advocates in order to reach out to our audience and provide content that was relevant to them. Alongside the wider industry, we wanted to learn how to be better equipped to recruit and retain people with disabilities, and to take learnings from experts, as we continue to develop our products to make them accessible to all. This forum has enriched our lives with the knowledge to foster new talent and insight into how to make the media more accessible than ever.
Peak – AltitudeX
Peak’s aim is to become the category leaders of Decision Intelligence; what we believe is the biggest B2B software movement for a generation. It was crucial that we were able to use AltitudeX as a platform to do just this, with an agenda and format that curated content that would appeal to a wide range of personas – from business leaders to technical teams – all of which will be significantly impacted by Decision Intelligence as the category continues to grow. Plus, from an internal standpoint, AltitudeX was created to act as a launchpad for our Decision Intelligence platform – one of our key company objectives for the year. We wanted to use this exciting new conference as a way of sharing the concept of Decision Intelligence, and the benefits of our platform, with the world. AltitudeX is an inclusive technology event for business leaders, commercial teams, engineers and data scientists who are wanting to reach new heights in business.
Royal College of General Practitioners – Clinical Hot Topics | Issues Affecting Ethnic Minority Patients
In November 2021, the Royal College of General Practitioners delivered two one-day online conference for its members, entitled ‘Clinical Hot Topics | Issues Affecting Ethnic Minority Patients’. The RCGP had already scheduled a number of non-clinical events to coincide with Black History Month and South Asian Heritage Month. Given the importance and topicality of clinical issues affecting ethnic minority groups, it was decided to develop two clinical conferences for RCGP members addressing these topics, thereby complementing the non-clinical activities. The conferences represented a cross-College collaboration, utilising the clinical expertise and experience of members across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Delegate feedback told us that across the two conferences 95% of attendees were either ‘extremely’ or ‘very’ satisfied with the events, and 98.5% of delegates would attend another RCGP CPD conference in the future. Such was the success of the two conferences, there are plans to make this short series an annual fixture in the RCGP’s portfolio of clinical CPD events. Educational conferences such as these allow the RCGP to provide its members with valuable clinical updates in important areas to help them improve their practice and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
