BEST NEW CONFERENCE – OVER 500 DELEGATES
Brandfuel – Arm DevSummit
When Brandfuel was asked to produce Arm’s first virtual summit bringing together hardware engineers and software developers from around the world, it needed a vision that would cut through the digital fatigue that was so evident during the pandemic. The leading semiconductor and software design company aimed to attract 10,000 developers to its DevSummit, and it wanted to ensure that they engaged, collaborated and created a community of like minds. The event Brandfuel delivered attracted 19,550 registrations, smashing Arm’s target.
The 2021 Arm DevSummit was the most complex virtual event Brandfuel had undertaken. Every aspect was bespoke, from the platform experience and integration, to the content we produced for keynotes, the Developers’ Den arcade, and the networking zones. Our solution was to create a futuristic 3D city from scratch, with Arm’s headquarters at its heart. With over 130 sessions to attend, delivered across multiple time zones in five languages, developers needed to be able to catch up with content they missed.
Arm TV, our bespoke broadcasting channel hosted in Silicon Valley, was the summit’s nerve-centre, live-streaming live and recorded content throughout the three-day event. All the sessions were also available on-demand on our Tech Hub for several weeks.
EMAP – Architects’ Journal Fire Safety Design Conference
The Architects’ Journal (AJ) is a 127-year-old multiplatform brand, curating content for the architecture community across print, digital and events. In early 2021, the AJ team were closely monitoring the progress with Phase 1 of the Grenfell Tower inquiry and identified that there would be outcomes that are essential to how architecture practices would need to approach building design in the future. We knew we needed to communicate these to our audience, but in a commercially viable way. With the future of events still uncertain due to COVID-19, the business decided to take its first leap into paid-for virtual events and in June 2021 launched the AJ Fire Safety Design Conference.
Due to its overwhelming success, this conference is now a solid part of the AJ portfolio for at least the next two years, with two further reports from the public inquiry still to come, and a further government report on materials testing regimes also promised. We’re very proud to be delivering such crucial content to our community.
GovNet Communications – Leading Healthcare Innovation Summit
On 9th February 2022, the first-ever Leading Healthcare Innovation Summit (LHIS) took place in London. The event was designed and delivered by the team behind the Healthcare Excellence Through Technology (HETT), the major healthtech conference. The idea for the event arose from the rapid transformation of the sector post-pandemic, and the great need for reactive and high-level support. After conducting significant research and working closely with an established steering committee, the key trends and challenges were worked into a compelling agenda.
By creating an annual thematic event, the team could deliver a more curated audience for senior leaders and match the sponsorship landscape. It was important to ensure sponsors were supported to deliver case study forward presentations that demonstrated exciting opportunities for the acceleration of patient care with new tools and technologies. The event – supported by names including NHSX, TechUK, SOCITM – offered high-level content that was more suitable for a senior audience, with an interactive series of keynote talks, panels, workshops, and roundtables. The LHIS team smashed registration targets, whilst receiving incredible feedback from the audience. 89% of attendees graded the event at least 4/5 for satisfaction, whilst an NPS score of +23 was recorded.
