The Law Society, Law Society Admissions Ceremonies
The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors in England and Wales. All solicitors in England and Wales are admitted to the Roll of Solicitors held with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (the regulatory body) when they qualify as a solicitor, but to acknowledge this achievement the Law Society provides an opportunity for solicitors to attend a graduation style event at which they can celebrate their achievements with friends and family. These events are called Admissions Ceremonies.
Our Admissions Ceremonies are usually the first contact that newly qualified solicitors have with the Law Society. They have taken place for 70+ years, with very little change until 2024 when a cross-team working group came together to elevate the customer experience and maximise commercial opportunities.
