Bearded Kitten helped Kingfisher launch their new brand ‘GoodHome’ with Innovation Day experiences in both London Olympia and Paris. The events previewed GoodHome products in an innovative way, launching the brand to UK and French markets in an immersive and interactive home improvement extravaganza!
We designed and built a DIY nightmares experience, a room all about happiness, a giant pavilion just for kitchens, 8 product pods, a plenary space and an example express store and showcased over 1000 products in true Bearded Kitten style…twice!
DRPG – BT CONSUMER LIVE 2019
DRPG were once again appointed to deliver Consumer Live for 2019 – the biggest face-to-face opportunity to bring together their three Consumer brands (BT Consumer, EE and Plusnet) to share stories, provide an opportunity to get hands-on and hear updates on performance and growth as well as meeting the new Group CEO.
For DRPG the priority was keeping it fresh, finding new ways to engage the audience whilst building on all the good of the previous years and engagement scores of 90% upwards. Spanning 5 halls of the NEC Birmingham, the event design included; a main plenary, 5 breakouts and 11,000sqm of exhibition and experiential space. The event hosted 7,000 colleagues over two days.
DRPG – EMPOWERED LEADERSHIP
Following a focused and strategic leadership training activity, John Lewis Partnership were looking to expand its reach to over 8,000 leaders. The plan was for their People Managers to go from a culture of telling, to one of inspiring and truly become ‘Specialists in People’. DRPG worked with the Partnerships’ L&D teams to create an event to deliver an experiential and immersive experience where colleagues from all areas of the business could learn and collaborate, developing their leadership skills in real time, and with real outcomes and positive impact.
N2O LIMITED – 2020 CCEP ANNUAL SALES CONFERENCE
N2O brought to life the annual conference for Cola-Cola employees over a two-day event in Liverpool. The team successfully delivered a series of hands-on brand experiences within the conference to fully engage and educate delegates.
Education and interaction were key objectives of the experiences delivered by N2O, which were achieved through a Coca-Cola-themed obstacle course, a Fanta zombie experience, a sustainability area, a garden inspired by a lemon grove, a football challenge and much more.
The conference was being run by The Coca-Cola Company, to educate Coca-Cola European Partners (the retail side of the business, including product and bottling) on the marketing plans for the year ahead for each individual Coca-Cola product via a fun and memorable experience.
The conference was a success; we had 17,443 drinks samples distributed, 7,820 footfall to our stands, and 7,690 giveaways were distributed. So did it educate delegates? Feedback included: “I’ve definitely come away with more knowledge of the brands than I started with”. We feel our idea process, research, execution and teamwork all contributed to the success of this conference.
PRIVATE DRAMA EVENTS – ONE YOUNG WORLD SUMMIT 2019 LONDON
Private Drama Events is the UK’s leading creator of experiences and collective of storytellers. For the 10th One Young World 2019 Summit we produced a three day conference -with keynote speakers including Jane Goodall, JK Rowling, Richard Branson and Edward Enninful – and an Opening and Closing Ceremony. OYW is a powerful advocacy platform that identifies, promotes and connects the world’s most impactful young leaders to create a better world, with more responsible, more effective leadership. We welcomed x2200 young leaders, from 190+ countries, including the refugee nation, and x100 influential global leaders from the worlds of business, politics, sport and entertainment, to accelerate change.
Our inspiring, empowering Opening Ceremony exceeded all expectations, fuelling the unparalleled success of the conference. Weaving OYW’s central issues into a two hour production at the RAH, we highlighted the themes of Sustainable Fashion, Animal Conservation, Diversity and Inclusivity.
We sourced an incredible, diverse and inclusive cast of +200 young creatives – including the cast of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie! – with all costumes designed by sustainable young designer Patrick McDowell. Together, they captured the spirit of youth-led change to set a powerful positive energy in motion that pervaded the entire conference.

In a year where the RCGP were forced to change the dates of their annual conference from the first week of October to the third week – meaning the event would take place during school half term holidays – delegate numbers were the highest ever, and social engagement and delegate satisfaction beat all records. And, just to add to that, commercial revenues were also the highest ever.

SOUNDS COMMERCIAL LTD – LEAGUE MANAGERS ASSOCIATION ANNUAL AWARDS
The League Managers Association Annual awards dinner is a prestigious event seeing over 800 guests celebrate an evening of all things football – Sounds Commercial have been technical production partners since 2013. This event really is something special and prestigious within the football world, and for 2019 it was important to the client to really enhance the delegate experience throughout by making it a decadent and well-choreographed show. Delegates began their journey at the venue entrance on Park Lane and were greeted by a fully branded welcome area which led them down a swept staircase into a fully draped and lit ‘season in review’ area. This area was fully branded with print and displayed key facts and information about the football season as well as tastefully displaying sponsors as per the brief. Delegates walked along a fully draped, up-lit and green carpet hallway which displayed trophies along the side, creating a dramatic impact and welcome. Fully branded VIP bars, and décor across the venue to match the look and feel of this event provided small simple touches that brought the event together. This was a truly special event, and one that every department of Sounds Commercial could show off their talents with.
STRATA CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS – DEALER CONFERENCES 2019
Three brands, three days, one venue.
Strata delivered three brand’s dealer events in one venue back-to-back over three days; sharing infrastructure, maximising investment in production and achieving significant cost savings year on year for the PSA Groupe.
A combination of innovative production techniques, a large collaborative approach across the brands, and cost savings negotiated by Strata, delivered a heightened experience for over 1,800 network partners.
Production management of over 20 vehicles, both heritage and concept, brought each brand to life on the 20m catwalk stage, and in the expo & hospitality area. State of the art LED screens and presenting ‘in the round’ created a new dynamic experience to the annual event and gave the attendees a reason to sit up and pay attention.
Creating event identities that resonated with the audiences ensured successful delivery of the business messages across all three brands, resulting in 94% average satisfaction ratings. Strata received excellent feedback from both clients and guests, and the client relationship even expanded into new business areas following the campaigns success.
TAYLOR BENNETT PARTNERS – ADOBE SUMMIT 2019
No more digital marketing conference – TBP created a concept, from start to finish based on experience.
The focal point of the Summit Experience was TBP’s 500 m2 jellyfish combined with 84 DMX fans.
Its graceful ebbing and flowing represented the user experience of the cloud. The delegate controlled the flow of air and light pattern by moving their hands through lasers connected to motion sensors, giving the user control of the cloud!
To help facilitate business, we had a VIP area within the Community Pavilion called the Customer Meeting Centre (CMC), where over 1000 meetings were held.
The CMC was also used for our executive dining experience, hosted by Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton.
To create an additional area of interactivity we used a projection map to position a giant letter A. An anamorphic tool with a gyro within it enabled the projected ‘A’ to follow the movements of the user’s hand.
We hired speakers from Law, television, and film to discuss adapting to change and overcoming adversity. All sourced and booked by TBP, they included Amal Clooney, Eddie Redmayne, Edith Bowman, Emily Maitlis, Jack Whitehall and Jess Glynne.
Event coverage received 5.2 million views – 88% year-on-year increase.
