ACC LIVERPOOL
ACC Liverpool is part of Liverpool event campus – an interconnected arena, convention and exhibition centre – on the banks of the world-heritage waterfront. Our flexible facilities enable us to create impactful events that deliver unique experiences for clients and delegates. From international conferences to experiential dinners and corporate events, we have established a reputation for exceptional service delivery.
Since opening in spring 2008, we have become a market leader, hosting over 1,200 conferences and welcoming over 1 million delegates from all over the world, generating over £1.7 billion for the local economy.
To win this award would be recognition of the role that ACC Liverpool plays in the industry and the domino effect of the venue’s success – when the venue is packed with events and visitors the wider city economy benefits. The high-profile events being held in our venue are testament to the city’s regeneration since 2008. ACC Liverpool has established itself as a major contender in the meetings and events industry and, perhaps more significantly, on the international map as a place where exciting things happen.
ICC Belfast
ICC Belfast’s vision is to double the business by 2023, through the relentless pursuit of excellence for everyone; people, customers, clients, partners and stakeholders. The collective aim of the organisation is to cultivate a proactive, customer-centric culture to build a long-term, sustainable business as one team. Economic contribution is ICC Belfast’s driver and in March 2020, the venue confirmed £115m economic impact had been delivered for the City of Belfast, exceeding the original target of £100m by March 2021. In order to better serve the needs of clients, ICC Belfast seeks to understand the motivating factors of clients as well as those of delegates to create an emotional connection. The venue team then adopts the role of trusted advisor on all elements from the proposed spaces and event production to hospitality, citywide branding and digital marketing to ensure objectives are met and exceeded. ICC Belfast applied this approach recently when working with AstraZeneca to deliver a kick-off meeting and also designed and implemented a bespoke digital-marketing campaign for BAPEN. This unique campaign exceeded expectations generating 1.9m impressions, a 91% increase in event page views, 25% increase in overall registrations and a 607% increase in online registrations.
ICC, BIRMINGHAM
From the moment delegates are greeted into the ICC by our Welcome Hosts, to the moment they depart – possibly using the brand-new tram stop at the venue – we aim to ensure they’re ‘wowed’ by the experience. Every one of the 350,000 delegates who attend 400+ events a year, plus the 4million people who pass through our Mall!
In 2019, a four-year £13million refurbishment of all our spaces was completed, transforming the ICC into a world-class, future-proof conferencing and meetings destination.
We host a vast and varied portfolio of clients for events ranging from 3-3000 delegates many coming back time-and-time again – like Specsavers, who’ve been with us for 20 years. Location is a key factor: the ICC is brilliantly connected for travel from all round the UK and beyond. Organisers also love our flexible layout and outstanding service levels – not just meticulous attention to detail but the way we make them feel, with tailored support and personal attention.
We’re constantly looking to enhance the venue with initiatives driven by customer feedback and 100% focused on delivering great ICC experiences – from state-of-the-art technology to innovative food and drink concepts.
That’s why so many clients keep coming back!
