C21Media – Content London
CONTENT LONDON 2018
The greatest event in show business
Content London 2018 saw us take delegate numbers from 1,517 to 2,253 and revenue from £1.2m to £1.9m on the previous year, increases of 36% and 58% respectively.
After struggling to cope with capacity issues in 2017, we took over the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel for the first time in 2018, adding it as a second venue, while retaining Kings Place. This all paid off.
Ahead of his keynote, Erik Barmack, Netflix VP of international originals, the most powerful exec in global television commissioning, told the world: “We are all here because it’s important for us to understand what’s happening in the production community. There is so much activity that we are participating in here It’s really one of the more meaningful conferences we go to.”
Our genuine commitment to inclusion also helped take the event to the next level this year. More than 55% of our speakers were women and our partnership with TriForce Creative Network brought 250 new voices from diverse backgrounds to the event.
We added training workshops, event dailies, new awards and a whole lot more to make Content London 2018 the greatest event in show business.
