Association of MBAs (AMBA) – AMBA Global Conference 2017
In 2017 The Association of MBAs (AMBA) celebrated its 50th Anniversary and wanted its flagship event to have the strongest programme in its history, attract more delegates than ever before and meet with its most challenging commercial targets for both delegate revenue and sponsorship.
The theme of our anniversary was ‘views from the top’, so we brought top-class speakers – including Peter Thomson, President, UN General Assembly, and Indra Nooyi, CEO, PepsiCo – to present to the delegation in the JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai, the tallest hotel on the planet.
We entertained delegates in venues including the worlds tallest building the Burj Khalifa and the opulent dining room in Burj Al Arab – not to mention tents in the Arabian Desert.
With no outsourced support and with only an internal events team of three people and marketing team of two, we managed the event completely in-house. Through an innovative research, sales and communications strategy we attracting more delegates, sponsors, press and social media interest and high-profile speakers than ever before in our 50-year history.
Campden Wealth – Leading Ladies of Switzerland
A tri-collaboration between Campden Research, Campden Conferences and Julius Baer.
A topical and enlightening gathering of a very select audience focused on women of wealth in Switzerland. Aimed to bring to life a quantitative study of UHNW family matriarchs/female next gen multi-generational family members as well as female UHNW entrepreneurs and private investors. This event was designed with the target market in mind (predominantly, but not exclusively female wealth holders) – we are inclusive and we very much do ‘family’ gatherings. It was intended to be educational, informative, instructive and inspiring – within a timeframe to suit the audience. Based on the principal of ‘like attracting like’ we ensured our speaker panel reflected the many roles women of wealth play: entrepreneur, business executive, family member, investor, philanthropist. It was a very positive gathering of our community members, some well-known to us, others re-engaging via the theme and agenda of the event. The event met all key objectives and was a memorable occasion with many there requesting it bit an annual fixture.
Global Business Club (GBC) – Downstream Caspian and Central Asia 2017

The conference originated as a simple but powerful idea: connect a remarkably hospitable and yet somewhat secretive region together in one place. Every year we spend months of intense hard work in preparation, many late nights and sometimes a roller coaster of emotions – all to make sure that our attendees get business – and sometimes even life-changing experience at this conference.
