Business Design Centre – BDC Conference Centre
The Business Design Centre opened in 1986. The venue’s main hall is used for larger conferences such as the Master Investor & Droidcon London while our other spaces are in constant use for various sized conferences with clients such as RBS, Terrapin and Fresh Fair. BDC Conference Centre is run by Max, Kate, Emma, Charlotte and Lowri along with excellent service partners. Every year we focus on evolving with the requirements of our clientele. The Centre’s 12 conference spaces are consistently rejuvenated with improvements to facilities and technology. When we asked our clients what makes the BDC stand out from the rest they always mention consistency and quality of staff, outstanding personal customer service, continued efforts to maintain and improve the facilities and fabric of the building, versatility, catering, location, natural light and aesthetic beauty of the space. Here at Hilton London Metropole, we are proud to be one of Europe’s largest conference hotels, with event organisers having the space and flexibility to create the most memorable experiences. We can accommodate conferences for up to 1,650 delegates and host 1059 to sleep, having a huge advantage of everything under one roof.
We were delighted to host DattoCon in October 2017, an event designed to enhance the profile of our client Datto. The event took over our entire West Wing and utilised our two largest suites – Kings and Monarch. Having spoken to other venues, Datto found we offered the most extensive branding opportunities with branding throughout our West Wing and public areas. What’s more is our in house AV team designed and built a 40ft rocket for an out of this world space theme. ‘Our canvas, your story’ is a perfect example from this event where our dedicated team went above and beyond for the client, transforming our space and inspiring attendees throughout. Datto praised us for the seamless transition from sales, planning and operations stating we were exceptionally helpful to ensure the event was a great success.
