Principal Hotel Company – De Vere Beaumont Estate
In 2017 De Vere Beaumont Estate successfully relaunched under the new De Vere brand whilst delivering impressive growth against a challenging economic backdrop and with significant building and refurbishment work happening across the venue. The core M&E business saw a room hire increase of £459,900 y-o-y and total M&E revenue increase of over £719,000 for the year – £363,000 ahead of budget. Overall the venue saw total revenue growth of £520,200 y-o-y in 2017 with 8% of bedroom stock out offline and realised substantial food and beverage growth of almost £625,00 by building the hotel’s ‘Grand Space’ business (large M&E client events).
The impressive results are testament to an enthusiastic, motivated, well-nurtured team taking a proactive approach to delivering exemplary customer service, putting the customer at the heart of everything they do. While a high-quality baseline service level is firmly adhered to, each customer is treated as an individual and the approach tailored to their requirements – the result is a loyal returning customer base, with a 55% retention rate, with many customers increasing spend at the venue, as well as a strong pipeline of new business.
Smart Group – Here East
Formerly the Press and Broadcast Centre used during the Olympics to broadcast the games to the world, Here East has now been operating as a unique meetings and events space for just over two years. Located in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the venue boasts a capacity of 1,000, a large reception space with an adjoining terrace and a theatre with high-end conferencing technology.

Surrey County Cricket Club – The Kia Oval
The Kia Oval is one of the finest – and fastest growing – conference and events destinations in central London.
A stone’s throw from the River Thames but still just outside the Congestion Charge Zone, the venue is perfectly located for the West End, Westminster and the City. There is parking for up to 50 cars on site and is within walking distance of five London Underground stations and five minutes from the overground station at Vauxhall. Clients would be hard pressed to find a venue as accessible the Kia Oval.
