The Science Museum is a well-established event venue in South Kensington featuring a diverse collection of spaces to hire, including 9 inspirational galleries, two dedicated multi-purpose spaces and the IMAX Theatre.
Available to host both daytime and evening events, clients now have the opportunity to hire the entire museum on limited dates throughout the year for more complex full day events, or those requiring extra privacy.
The museum’s purpose-built Illuminate is a popular blank canvas space which hosts a range of events from conferences and product launches to awards ceremonies and fashion shows. Set across two levels with capacity for up to 450 guests, Illuminate offers incredible views of the London skyline from its panoramic window, as well as the latest in AV technology. Alternatively, the Smith Centre, a beautifully refurbished building on the ground floor, features four event spaces and an open-plan courtyard.
Having access to the museum’s galleries, whether for an evening dinner, drinks reception, party, or private tour, is a great way to elevate an event and give guests a truly unique experience. Equally, the galleries can be used for daytime breakout sessions, panel discussions or meetings as part of exclusive hire.
