Overseas Conference of the Year – over 500 Delegates
Bioscientifica – 57th Annual ESPE Meeting
The ESPE Meeting is the flagship event of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) It provides a global platform for scientists and doctors to share the latest research and clinical advances in paediatric endocrine care, helping to improve the lives of children with endocrine conditions The Meeting has been running since 1962, and since Bioscientifica was appointed as core PCO in 2014, we have consistently surpassed client expectations for the event.
The ESPE Council and Programme Organising Committee had high ambitions for the 2018 Meeting. They wanted to build on the success of previous years to secure the event’s position as the go-to international meeting on paediatric endocrinology These ambitions were threatened when the Meeting was unexpectedly hit by storm Zorba — a rare ‘Medicane’ which resulted in local services and transport being severely disrupted Yet, despite this significant challenge, ESPE 2018 emerged as the most successful Meeting in ESPE’s history ESPE 2018 attracted over 3,500 delegates: 7% more than the previous Meeting and 17% more than when Bioscientifica took over as PCO We received over 1,300 abstracts — the highest number in the Meeting’s history, and all exhibition space was sold out”
DMG Events, Gastech Exhibition & Conference
The 30th Gastech took place in Barcelona in September 2018. Following a concerted effort by the team to boost the profile of the event, the conference was officially opened by HM King Felipe VI of Spain, the first time in Gastech history a Head of State had opened the show. The 2018 edition featured a vastly expanded programme, 50% more speakers drawn from a 40% increase in submitted abstracts alongside increased VIP and c-level content featuring high level government and industry speakers. This enhanced programme translated to record sponsorship and attendees to Gastech in its almost 50-year history. Coverage of the proceedings was through top tier media outlets who broadcasted live from the event. Gastech’s unique value proposition to its audience is that it contains elements that meets the needs of a c-level and top-level government audience through the VIP Programme and plenary stage, valuable commercial insight in the peer reviewed strategic tracks and the sharing of cutting edge, high quality research and insights in the technical tracks. Gastech exists as a unique and valuable resource to its audience to engage with each other and set the strategic direction of the global gas industry.

The Cura Foundation – Unite To Cure, the 4th International Vatican Conference
Cura approached Allison+Partners in 2017 and asked the agency to join it on an extraordinary mission: to rally the world around the potential of this new category of medicine to vanquish disease and reduce global suffering. To accomplish this goal, Cura wanted Allison+Partners to help up-level its bi-annual Unite To Cure event at the Vatican so it stands as one of the most high-profile, impactful thought leadership events in the world. The three-day conference, which was held from April 26-28, 2018 within the Vatican Amphitheatre in Italy, reached more than 3 billion people around the world, introducing them to an entire new approach to medicine and changing perceptions, through videos, social media posts and traditional media. Furthermore, the event and our communications efforts, highlighted a key idea: that science and faith are not opposed to one another, but that, in fact, they can co-exist and inspire one another.
